Burke is engaged in the development, of improved prescription and over-the-counter proprietary medicines. Burke is developing innovative products for the dermatology market employing novel delivery systems to improve targeted topical and dermal drug delivery, efficacy as well as address unmet medical needs. These products seek to improve the quality of life of patients with an array of dermatological diseases and disorders.

Partnerships

Burke Pharmaceuticals is finalizing an agreement to develop a topical product with Hawthorne Pharmaceuticals. The product will be used in the treatment of Atopic Dermatitis for children and adults. Currently, a Pre-IND meeting is scheduled 1Q 2010. Under the proposed agreement, Burke Pharmaceuticals will contribute financing and intellectual property to the product.
